A calm, respectful and safe stay at Do Padre

Do Padre is designed as a quiet adults-only retreat. These rules help protect the comfort, privacy and safety of guests, neighbours, animals and the property. They form part of the Booking Terms & Conditions.

1. Guests and Occupancy

All staying guests must be at least 18 years old.
The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.
Each apartment accommodates a maximum of two registered guests.
Unregistered overnight guests and over-occupancy are not permitted.
Unregistered visitors are allowed only with the host’s prior approval. The registered guest remains responsible for their conduct.

2. Quiet and Respect for the Setting

Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 08:00.
Loud music, shouting and other disruptive noise are not permitted at any time.
Parties and events are not permitted.
Please respect neighbours, other guests and the peaceful character of Brogueira.

3. Smoking, Fire and Barbecue

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the apartments.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only, with care and respectful disposal of cigarette ends.
Candles, open flames and any other open fire are prohibited throughout the guest accommodation and outdoor guest areas.
Only the electric barbecue provided on the terrace of the respective apartment may be used.
No charcoal, gas or portable barbecue may be brought onto the property.

4. Pets and Resident Cats4.

Guest pets are not permitted.
Cats live on or visit the property. Guests should avoid feeding them unless agreed with the host.
The cats must not be allowed into either apartment. Please keep doors and windows managed accordingly.

5. Pool Rules

No lifeguard
The pool is unsupervised. Guests are responsible for using it carefully and following all safety instructions.

Pool hours are 08:00 to 22:00.
The pool is for registered guests of the Lisbon and Cairo Apartments. Visitors may use it only with the host’s express prior approval.
Diving and jumping into the pool are not permitted.
Running, pushing, rough play and unsafe behaviour around the pool are not permitted.
Glass bottles, glasses and other breakable glass items are prohibited in the pool area.
The pool is normally unheated. Heating is available only by prior agreement.
The pool may be closed temporarily because of weather, maintenance, water quality or safety concerns. Guests must follow any closure notice or instruction from the host.
Please use towels responsibly and do not remove indoor furnishings or non-pool items to the pool area.

6. Private Areas

The following areas are private and are not accessible to guests or visitors:

the upper roof terrace;
the private garden separated by a gate;
any other area clearly marked private, locked or closed by the host.

7. Doors, Windows and Security

Close and secure doors and windows whenever leaving the apartment.
Do not share keys, access codes or gate devices with unapproved persons.
At check-out, leave keys inside the apartment or in the key box, as instructed.
Report a lost key or gate transponder immediately. Replacement charges are EUR 40 for an apartment key and EUR 65 for a gate transponder.
Use the available safe for valuables. Do not leave valuable items unattended in outdoor areas.

8. Air Conditioning, Heating, Water and Electricity

Turn off air conditioning and heating whenever leaving the apartment.
Use electricity and water responsibly and avoid unnecessary consumption.
Do not leave taps, appliances or the electric barbecue unattended while operating.
Objectively excessive or abusive consumption may result in an additional documented charge.

9. Waste and Cleanliness

Use the designated waste and recycling containers and follow the separation instructions provided in the apartment.
Do not leave rubbish, food or personal items in shared outdoor areas.
Please leave the apartment in a reasonably tidy condition. The EUR 25 cleaning fee covers normal end-of-stay cleaning, not exceptional cleaning, damage or removal of excessive waste.

10. Parking

Parking is available in the public area near the property. No private or reserved parking space is guaranteed. Vehicles and belongings are parked at the guest’s own risk, subject to any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Photography and Commercial Use

Normal personal photography is welcome, provided the privacy of other guests, neighbours and private areas is respected.
Professional photography, filming, commercial content creation or use of the property for promotional purposes requires prior written approval.
Drones may be used only with prior approval and in compliance with applicable law and privacy rules.

12. Damage, Breakage and Problems

Report damage, breakage, faults, water leaks or safety concerns immediately in person, by WhatsApp or in writing.
Do not attempt repairs or move fixed equipment without approval.
The lead guest is responsible for damage caused by guests or approved visitors, excluding normal wear and tear.

13. Host Access and Emergencies

The host may enter an apartment where immediate access is reasonably necessary because of danger, an emergency, suspected serious damage, a security concern or a legal requirement. Guest privacy will be respected, and notice will be given where practical.

14. Serious Breaches

Violence, threats, illegal activity, serious noise, deliberate damage, over-occupancy, unauthorised parties or serious/repeated breaches of these rules may lead to the stay being ended without refund, subject to applicable law. Where necessary, the competent authorities may be contacted.
